Ability to multi task successfully while remaining calm under pressure during hectic periods 7 Fluency in multiple languages would be desirable but not mandatory depending upon employer needs 8 Certification courses taken pertaining specifically towards becoming certified receptionists can also help applicants demonstrate expertise when seeking employment opportunities 9 Proficiency using digital multimedia tools e g video conferencing software might come handy for those willing to offer virtual assistance instead of traditional face-to-face interactions 10 Knowledgeable about booking appointments online via calendar apps / scheduling softwares 11 Able to operate switchboard equipment proficiently including voicemail systems 12 Expertise utilizing automated messaging devices is helpful too since many companies employ them nowadays 13 Familiarity operating copy machines along with other general office machinery 14 In depth understanding concerning special security measures governing sensitive information exchange among personnel involved in daily activities inside offices 15 Should stay updated on all current trends affecting local markets where businesses are located so that necessary precautions are taken accordingly Education: 1 Bachelors Degree from accredited college/university preferred but not always required
