Ongoing continuing education opportunities that help maintain competency in current treatment techniques within their respective fields including but not limited to workshops, seminars etc... 4 . Obtaining any needed certifications/licensures necessary for practicing legally depending on specialty areas like sex addiction therapy certification through International Institute of Trauma & Addiction Professionals(IITAP), substance abuse counselling certification through NAADAC The Association For Addiction Professionals etc… Qualifications: 1 .
