Education: • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required by most casinos; some may prefer applicants who have postsecondary education such as an associate’s degree in hospitality services or casino operations management

Starting off with a junior gaming dealer, wages usually begin around minimum wage and are gradually increased with experience. A newly trained dealer can average wages between $9 per hour to $12 an hour.
