A hockey coach is responsible for leading a team of players to success on the ice. The job of a hockey coach involves teaching players the fundamentals of the game, developing strategies and tactics, motivating players to perform at their best, and managing all aspects of the team’s operations. The primary responsibility of a hockey coach is to teach players how to play the game. This includes teaching them proper skating techniques, passing and shooting skills, positioning on the ice, defensive strategies, offensive plays and more.
