Completion of a recognized coaching certification program such as USA Volleyball’s IMPACT or CAP I/II courses or equivalent training from another organization such as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). 2. Participation in continuing education programs related to coaching techniques and strategies for volleyball offered by organizations such as USA Volleyball or AVCA on an annual basis to stay up-to-date with best practices for teaching the game to athletes at all levels of competition. Qualifications: 1. Demonstrated ability to motivate players both on and off the court through positive reinforcement techniques that foster team unity while also encouraging individual growth within each athlete’s skill set development plan over time; 2 .Ability to develop practice plans that are tailored specifically for each team’s needs while also incorporating drills that will help improve overall performance; 3 .Knowledgeable about scouting opponents prior to matches so that appropriate game plans can be developed; 4 .Strong organizational skills necessary for managing multiple tasks associated with running a successful program including scheduling practices/games, coordinating travel arrangements when needed, ordering equipment/uniforms as needed throughout season(s), etc.; 5 .Excellent communication skills necessary for working closely with athletes/parents/administrators throughout season(s) regarding any issues that may arise during course of year(s). Education: 1 .Bachelors degree from an accredited university preferably in physical education or sports management; 2 .Masters degree preferred but not required depending upon experience level; 3 .CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained prior to beginning work as coach if not already held by applicant prior to applying for position; 4 .Background check must be completed before being hired into position if not already done so previously by applicant prior to applying for job opening
