Qualifications: • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar certification is beneficial but not required for all positions. • Extensive knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana etc., and best practices related to those toolsets would be beneficial when applying for this position; however these qualifications may vary depending on the organization/industry that you’re looking into entering/working with.. Education: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline is highly desired by employers when recruiting new Product Owners; however some organizations do consider candidates without a formal education background if they have sufficient industry experience & training within their given domain area(s).
